Your Freedom Number is designed to be local-first. The inputs you enter — spending, contributions, portfolio, ages, scenarios, and your optional name — are stored in your browser's local storage on the device you are using.
What we store on your device
- Planning inputs and derived results.
- Your optional first name (used in greetings and on the report cover).
- UI preferences such as currency, chat draft, and whether you've dismissed certain hints.
What we send to a server
When you use the Freedom Guide chat, your messages and a snapshot of your current planning context are sent to our AI provider so the assistant can answer questions about your situation. Chat history is also stored in your browser so you can return to it later.
We use lightweight, privacy-respecting product analytics to count which sections are used and how the tool performs. We do not sell your data and we do not run advertising trackers.
Clearing your data
You can clear everything at any time by clearing your browser's site data for this domain, or by using your browser's "clear site data" controls. Once cleared, your inputs are gone.
